Do you know that in BC, within weeks, you could be eligible for clinical counseling coverage regardless of who is at fault? Up to counseling sessions can be approved automatically without a physician's referral. ICBC may cover more sessions if your doctor thinks it’ll help you get better.
If it has been 12 weeks since your accident a doctor’s referral indicating the need for counseling related to the accident is needed.

Give ICBC a written report with all the details of an accident within 30 days from the date of the collision
Provide ICBC with a proof of claim on the appropriate form (provided by ICBC adjuster) within 90 days of the accident
Once you have your claim number you may schedule your first appointment
Clinical counselor can invoice ICBC directly, just give your claim number and adjuster's contact information
